She's rollerskating, I don't know her, but she makes me feel like rollerskating

As per Chris' request this is the portrait of the Derby Girls I shot yesterday. I was hoping for this big awesome idea with flashes against a brick wall and such. Then I realized how many girls were on the team and I was screwed. Lucky the walls of Skatezone also has red white and blue, nothing like being patriotic when you're kicking another girl's ass right? I agree.

They were an awesome group, if it wasn't for Alyssa already doing a photo story on them awhile back, I would so follow these girls. They'll make you feel good about yourself any day, not to mention they have skate skills, which I lack very much so. But thanks to my friend Whitney I pulled off a semi decent portrait. It's alright, I wish it were better in a lot of ways but I did what I could and hopefully next time will be better.

My tuba, they love to hear my tuba

I've been meaning to update but once again the hustle and bustle of my life has consumed any chance of me updating on a consistent basis. I know I promised fall photos, which I have taken they are just still inside of my camera and not on my computer. This photo was from the Texas A&M v.s. Nebraska football game. It was the feature photo I shot and I really like it.

On a side note, I've been juggling school and work on top of saving some extra pennies since my paycheck was a bit short this month and I've working less at The Blue Orchid, for some odd reason. I guess I might as well stock up on Ramen noodles before I'm too poor to afford those. Lucy for me I still get two free meals a week and I'm really going to start packing more lunches during the day to prevent me from buying Subway twice a week, because it's so convenient.

It's November already. I have no clue where the year has gone. It's also gorgeous fall and I love every minute of it. I was in Lawrence this weekend and purposefully walked in the grass just so I could crunch the leaves. Besides the pretty colors, crunching leaves is a favortie pastime of mine.
